5th Grade |
I am originally from the California Bay Area which is where I grew up and started my teaching career. I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree from BYU-Idaho and I just finished my Master’s degree in Instructional Technology and Learning Science with Utah State University this summer! I love learning, reading, sewing (including my own Halloween costumes,) hiking, swimming, watching my shows (historical, anime, and Asian dramas,) listening to music, and taking care of my plants. I am a fan of Harry Potter, Avatar the Last Airbender, Studio Ghibli movies, Legend of Zelda, and other things that qualify me as a total nerd. I am excited for this coming year and all the new things we get to learn together! |

Charlotte Severe | Teacher
My Email: Charlotte.Severe@washk12.orgI grew up in Las Vegas, but have always loved Utah. My husband and I moved to Kanarraville 11 years ago with our three daughters. We love living in the country and raising animals. For the past 11 years I have taught elementary age students, but I taught elementary and secondary students while living in Las Vegas. I received my Bachelor’s degree from UNLV, a Master’s degree from Fresno University and another Master’s degree from Southern Utah University. I also studied reading intervention with Neuhaus and have a reading intervention endorsement. I love learning new things and going on adventures with my family. I have two grandbabies and love spending time with them. This is my second year at LaVerkin Elementary School and I love the community!

Reanna Lyon | Teacher
My Email: reanna.lyon@washk12.orgI grew up in a small town in Nevada called Moapa Valley. I recently graduated from BYU-Idaho with a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and an endorsement in ESL. I student taught in a first grade class in West Valley, Utah and I also helped teach in a fifth grade class in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Southern Utah has always felt like a second home to me as my family used to travel to St. George on weekends, and I played a little bit of club soccer here when I was in middle school. I’m thrilled to be teaching at LaVerkin Elementary! As a small-town girl at heart, I enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors – Whether it’s hiking, kayaking, going to the lake, or just soaking in the sunshine. I have a deep passion for teaching and a genuine love for helping students learn and grow. I also speak a little Spanish and am looking forward to an amazing first year here at LaVerkin Elementary.
